Tangy, creamy ranch dressing that’s as healthful as it is delicious—this versatile sauce is a dream come true. If you don’t have a high-speed blender, like Vitamix brand, be sure to soak the cashews in cold water for at least 2 hours before making this dressing.

Correction in my typing: "I made & tasted it..." Sorry about that!

Linda Marie Wilson

This recipe is SO delicious! I made & tasted it just as it was written and it was fantastic. After I added a bit of cumin, as suggested by another commenter, and that was delicious, as well. I will definitely be making this again! Thank you Mrs. Plant in TX and Forks over Knives!

Wow!! I could eat this dressing everyday!!

There was not enough volume to cover the blades of my vitamix. Had to ad lib. Needed a lot more seasoning. I'll let it rest overnight and taste it again in the morning. I soaked the cashews 2 hours in hot water.

I have a peanut and tree nut allergy. What is best to replace the cashews with? Also, does anyone have input with replacing mustard in a lot of the recipes that are on this site? I have an allergy to that as well.

Maaike

If you can have seeds, sunflowerseeds are often a good replacement.

This is fantastic! It is versatile too, any mexican style dish could use this fabulous dressing.

Matt Green

I tried the exact recipe (no mods) but found it lacking in flavor. I added the hot sauce and that helped. I would recommend adding 1/4 tsp cumin and chili powder. That seemed to kick it up a notch

Rose

what is oil free salsa??

T

Had the same question.

Mrs. Plant

Salsa that does not contain oil in the ingredients. Most don't.

Joy Crosby

This is honestly amazing. I eat salad because I know I should but with THIS dressing, the salad is my favourite part of the meal.

Lisa

Very good recipe, I made it as written and it was good. I added dried minced onion and swapped out the water for almond milk and it turned out great

Paula

Surprisingly yummy! Will definitely make this again!

Melissa Smith

Wow! I was not expecting this to taste so delicious! So surprised!

I USED VERONIAS SALSA, NO DILL AND THE DRESSING IS THREW THE ROOF DELISH! THANK YOU!!

Mick Beaver

This was shockingly good! It has a creamy texture and a Midwestern "taco dip" taste. Color me pleased.
