    We created Forks Meal Planner to make plant-based living easier in a variety of ways, including batch cooking on weekends, using convenient and accessible ingredients to keep cook times down, factoring in leftovers for each recipe (optional), and providing an automated Grocery List. Plans are fully customizable for any family size and cover breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a snack or dessert for each weekday.

  • Can I exclude ingredients I don't like or am allergic to?

    Absolutely. Simply indicate these intolerances when you sign up (or at a later date in your Account Settings) and the recipes in your plan will be adapted accordingly. Of course, you can also substitute any recipe in your plan with ones from previous plans, ensuring your current plan always fits your mood. You’ll find more than 500 recipes in the Recipe Box that you can swap in at any time.

  • How many people does each recipe serve?

    Our recipes can serve any appetite or family size. Each recipe can be scaled from a half serving, for children or adults who prefer smaller meals, all the way up to event and potluck sizes. If you want to batch cook 30 burgers, Forks Meal Planner can handle it! Your Grocery List and Weekend Prep will automatically update to reflect the number of servings you indicate on your Account Settings or recipe page.

  • Are Forks Meal Planner recipes the same as those on forksoverknives.com and the Forks Over Knives Recipe App?

    We have adapted some popular recipes from the website for the Planner (and vice versa), but by and large, Meal Planner recipes are exclusive to the Planner. Meal Planner recipes are designed or adapted by our in-house chefs to meet a strict set of criteria. Meals need to be quick, use ingredients commonly found at most grocery stores, and include Weekend Prep steps to keep cook time down.

  • Are your recipes family-friendly?

    All of our recipes are designed to appeal to adults and children alike. For some recipes, we’ll suggest kid-friendly tweaks to make sure every recipe is a hit.

  • Is this a subscription? What will I receive?

    The Meal Planner is a digital subscription service. Every week you will receive a fresh meal plan with recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a snack or dessert for each weekday. You will also have access to the Recipe Box of hundreds of recipes for the duration of your membership, as well as access to an exclusive community for support.
