Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Jason Mraz, best known for his chart-topping single “I’m Yours,” says he’s adopted a plant-based diet and recommends Forks Over Knives to those interested in the lifestyle.
On his website journal, Mraz wrote that his new diet has him “feeling stronger, fitter, healthier and more productive” and added “it also makes me a lot better in bed.” He also said, “For those curious or concerned about a plant-based diet, check out the film Forks Over Knives. It’s a life changer.”

Paula Deen, known as the Queen of Southern Cooking, recently revealed that she has type-2 diabetes. FOK executive producer Brian Wendel said, “We request that Paula Deen watch Forks Over Knives and carefully consider the evidence that a whole-food, plant-based diet can oftentimes reverse type-2 diabetes. A person suffering from this disease can usually become free of or significantly reduce the need for diabetes medications. We hope Paula will follow this course, become healthier and use her unique position to educate thousands of people on the power of food as medicine.”

In an interview with Mother Nature Network, Carrie Ann Inaba said she and her fiancé, Jesse Sloan, recently became vegetarians. Carrie said, “We saw that amazing documentary ‘Forks Over Knives’ and that cleared everything up for us. Every Sunday we’re going to the farmers market now, getting our fresh fruits and veggies. It’s just two weeks, but we feel much better. I love animals. I don’t want to eat them.”
Carrie Inaba, is one of three judges on the hit TV show Dancing with the Stars.
On Tuesday, October 25th, Forks Over Knives was screened on Capitol Hill for several members of Congress and legislative staffers. FOK lead experts T. Colin Campbell, Ph.D. and Caldwell Esselstyn, M.D. made short presentations and answered questions from the audience.

Ozzy Osbourne said he was trying a vegan diet after recently watching Forks Over Knives. The 62-year legendary performer said, “My assistant showed me a video called Forks and Knives or something, about cutting out meat and dairy products, so I thought, ‘I’ll give this a shot!’” Watch the video (5:05).
